Marketing as we all know is the backbone of a progressing and developing company; marketing is one of the strategies a company can use in overcoming its competitors. This process cannot be achieved if there is no one to partake in the process, those who render this service are called marketer.
A marketer is an individual that goes out to the public, making sure that customers patronize the product of his company. These set of people need to have some qualities before they can convince the public to buy what the company offers. These qualities are listed below:
GOOD LOOKING APPEARANCE
There is a saying ‘as you dress, so will you address’ no customer will give a bad looking marketer an attention not to talk about purchasing from the company. The more attractive a marketer is, the greater the chances of getting a client.
A MARKETER MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK FLUENTLY
For a marketer to be successful in his mission, he must be able to speak fluently and confidently. A Shivering marketer has nothing to offer to his/her customers because he won’t be able to speak much about the quality and importance that can be derived from the goods he/she is marketing.
The more you speak, persuade, and convince (doing this with confidence) will prove to the public that you truly know what you are talking about.
A MARKETER MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK MORE THAN A LANGUAGE.
As much as you have the quality of dressing well, speaking fluently, you must also possess the ability to speak more than language.
The language barrier, overtime has been a hindrance to The success of a marketer, many clients found it difficult to speak or understand English(world official language)
As a marketer, you should be able to speak English, two other languages that are widely spoken in the geographical location the company is located. If a client sees this trait in a marketer, he/she will be so convinced that the company values their customers
A MARKETER MUST BE FRIENDLY
The way a marketer relates to a client will determine how long the relationship will be. As a marketer who is will make a good name for himself and the company should be able to relate friendly, humble and understandably with the public, you create jokes in the middle of discussion so that a client won’t feel bored. This will create a good impression in the mind of the public to give a trial to what you offer to them.
A MARKETER MUST BE TRUSTWORTHY
For a company to succeed among its peers, it must have a marketer who is trustworthy, a marketer who brings in an accurate record of how far he has gone on his mission. A marketer must be able to speak about a product exactly how it is, should the client tries the product, and he/she won’t be discouraged from patronizing the company. Another attitude a marketer must possess is ensuring constant and regular contact with a client
A marketer with all these qualities will not only make a name for himself but also for the company, because many people from the public will want to give a trial, to also see things for themselves.
